John Lewis is small, sweet, and charmingly crafty. It has this Make Arcade kit as one of its jubilee offerings. This kit includes all the necessary ingredients to make a crown, sparkly flag, and a toy Corgi for PS18.
The Royal Collection Trust is part of an organization that manages British Royal Palaces, which are still owned by the Crown. They have a special collection for the Jubilee. This crossbody bag PS209 was created in collaboration with Radley. It features humor, soldiers sporting bearskin hats, and a depiction from Buckingham Palace.
The bags of Her Majesty are made by the renowned Launer company, which was founded by Sam Launer, who immigrated from Czechoslovakia during World War II. It is estimated that the Queen currently has 300 Launer bags.
The company was awarded a Royal Warrant in 1950. This year, their Jubilee handbag is available in eight colors. However, the most popular color is the purple. It retails at PS2,500 and features a double handle with leather-bound mirror, gold-plated logo, and a double-handle.
Since over 70 years, silk scarves have been part the Queen Elizabeth II’s iconography. Holland Cooper is a silk version hand-rolled in England that pays tribute to the monarch’s love for horses and racing. It costs PS149.
Food hampers are a traditional British gift. They include a variety of delicious treats and are very British. Fortnum & Masons has a wonderful collection including the Happy & Glorious hamper which contains over 20 products in collectible tins. This includes the Jubilee blend of tea in a tea caddy and a special tea towel for PS450.
Selfridges has also a selection of hampers for celebrations, as well as a charming toy Keel Corgi dog PS17 to reference the Queen’s love and devotion to the breed.
Moet & Chandon Champagne House, which has a Royal Warrant from 1883, has created a special platinum cuvee. (PS43), a tradition the company continues with British coronations, jubilees and coronations. It is a blend pinot noir, meunier, and chardonnay grapes.
The Queen, who is now 96 years old, may have given up drinking dry martinis. However, the Cotswold Distillery produced the Jubilee blend. It has strawberry, raspberry, and pink pepper notes and was made for summer drinking. It is available through the Majestic.
Solovair’s Gibson shoe has a special edition. Solovair was the sole designer of Dr Martens’ sole, which is a cult product from England’s Northamptonshire shoe-making region.
The upper is a Union Flag design, and costs PS179. It has a strong punk-and-Silver Jubilee vibe. The Elizabeth, London’s new tube line, opened in May 2022 just in time to celebrate the Jubilee. Furniture can be found in the London Transport Museum, including the Chiswick footstool which costs PS450 and is part of the tube line’s unique purple moquette.
Wolf & Badger also adds humor to its Jubilee offerings. This includes these slippers which the Queen might, after re-emerging for a series events, just want to get into by evening. They are priced at PS45.
